Look!!!!!! I installed every manufacturers laminate floor for the last 10 years. When you are on your hands and knees for that long you get very familiar with the different manufacturers strong and weak points. Since the customer is going to call the installer back if there are problems, I learned quickly what features are needed to receive the best laminate flooring possible. I have made trips to Europe over the last 3 years and have been searching for a company that could incorporate all of the best features I wanted to make a laminate floor that was superior to the rest. After careful consideration, and 3 years of development, I am now introducing my own product to our customers. Since I could not buy a product already in production that contained all of the best components, I retained one of the best laminate companies in Europe to produce a floor that is the best that can be made. Carefully read what I have written to see and COMPARE if you agree that my flooring is superior to the others on the market.

The CORE

1) Almost all laminate manufacturers can reduce the price of their flooring by using a core material that contains less material and is lighter and less dense in the center. What does that do to the flooring? First it is much more susceptible to water damage. The tighter together you can get the core material the stronger that material is going to be. The flooring will also be quieter when you walk on it and be more impact resistant to denting. Unlike other manufacturers that use core materials that are rated from 700-850 kg per sq meter my new laminate product has a rating of 950 kg. This is the highest rating core material that can be produced in laminate flooring. I am not aware of any manufacturer that used this high of density in their core material that is presently being produced. This is nothing less than the best!!! This gives you the strongest product currently available.

The SURFACE

2) Most manufacturers downplay the wear ratings of their laminate floors. Since the flooring industry has rating systems for consumers I feel it is important that you know what they are and how they relate to your flooring purchase. Laminate flooring is rated by wear rating numbers that start with AC1. Each AC number higher than 1 translates into a 60% heavier wear layer than the previous number. In other words AC2 is 60% heavier wear rating than AC1. That means that an AC4 is 120% heavier wear rating than AC2. Most of the floors that you have seen at the local building center contain AC2 and AC3 wear ratings. My new floor offers an AC4 rating…….which is a commercial rating and carries a 25 year warrantee against wear, staining, fading, and surface water damage. Don't settle for laminate floors that are rated AC2 or AC3…..insist upon the higher AC4 rating for the most durability and scratch resistance. I want only the highest wear ratings for my customers.

The LOCKING MECHANISM AND FIT

3) I have discovered that many laminate floors on the market have a very weak locking mechanism. You can take your them between your thumb and index finger on most of them and break a corner off with little pressure applied. I chose the strongest lock I could find for my new product. It is thicker, and stronger than the others I have seen. Since I used the 950 kg core material it is also much stronger overall than any lock I have seen to date. The denser the core the stronger the material. The lock on my product is very positive and strong and will stay locked over the life of the laminate.

TEXTURE OF THE SURFACE

4) Look at most of the laminate floors on the market. Most have very little texture and scream that they are not real wood. I had this new product made with a very lifelike wood grain that looks and feels like real wood. I had it made in both flat seam (coming soon) and 4 sided beveled V-groove so you can have your choice of looks. Chose the flat seam for easy cleaning and seamless lock. Or chose the V-groove with the beveled edge for the most realist look of hardwood floors. Both clean very easily since nothing will stick to the surface and only a damp clothe removes most spills. Simply Vacuum the floor first and you can use a solution of 1/4 vinegar and 3/4 warm water to clean the floor back to new condition.

The BACKING

5) Many manufacturers don't seal their laminates well enough on the back to reduce damage by water. I had a very heavy coating of melamine applied to the back of my laminates. I then added a very nice rubberized cushion to the back of the product to make it easier and faster to install. If installed over wood you need nothing else under it. If you are installing over concrete simply use 6mil plastic that you can easily get at Home Depot in the paint department. If you are installing on a second floor or upper floor in a condo you can add our noiseblock pad and make it whisper quiet.

The WARRANTY

6) I will cover wear, stain, fade, and surface water damage on this new laminate flooring product personally. Most manufacturers handle claims thru certified inspectors which are expensive and usually only have the manufacturer to answer to. I will personally handle all claims that come into my office. All I ask is that you submit pictures of any damage or defect so that I can personally take a look. I want you to buy again so I want you to be happy. My future depends on it. I have owned Heidemann Flooring for 31 years. That is longer than other manufacturer of Laminate Flooring that now exists. You have my name on it……I will be there when you need warranty service.

Now save from .40-.65 a sq ft on your laminate flooring with our new floor w/ rubberized pad attached.

    OTHER Vs.   BALTA LAMINATES
Thickness   6-8mm thick   7 - 9 mm thick
Surface   Little or no texture on the surface (looks less like wood) and has a fakey plastic appearance that screams it is not real wood.   Heavy smooth rolling texture that looks and feels like real wood. Dirt will not stick in this texture and wipes clean with a damp cloth. The 9mm V-Groove more realistic than any laminate floor I have seen to date.

Wearlayer:   (moderate residential)   60% heavier than our competitors rating (heavy residential and light commercial) . You won't find this quality of flooring at Home Depot, Lowes, or your local carpet store... and if they did have it the price would be double what you can buy it for here.

Backing:   Range from paper backing to melamine backing.....some good.........some not so good for water proofing.

Double layer of melamine on the back.

Glueless locking systems:   Some are good, but some are of the type that will break off with your fingers due to weak, thin edges.
Check out the new locking system for the Balta. Compare the realism of my samples vs. my competitors.
Warranty:   Good question? Do they have a direct relationship with the manufacturer of the product they sell? Do they try to handle problems themselves first........or do they simply refer to a manufacturer?

I buy directly from Balta in Belgium. They even provide a water warranty on their upper end products. All warranty claims are first handled by me personally. I try to help you get to the bottom of problems immediately.

Company:

Some are selling 2nds, thinner products, discontinued  laminates, and off goods. Some are reputable.....some are not. Few answer their phone direct.....but rely on an answering machine to speak to you. Try it yourself, see if you get a real live person and how long it takes for them to get back to you!!!!

I answer my phone when you call.....if I am on the line with another customer expect a call back as soon as I have finished with that customer. You won't wait long!  I have been selling flooring for over 30 years. I put my money where my mouth is........sending you all the free samples you want......also a free video that explains my products. Once ordered I also send a free installation video to help you if you install it yourself. I also offer free advice when installing 7 days a week. No competitor I am aware of offers all of this free!!!!! It costs me about $12 per customer to pay for the materials and priority mail postage.........but my customers are loyal and appreciate it when someone does what they say they will do. I take care of you every step of the way.
